Return & Refund Policy

AmazingMall Africa is committed to providing you with the best shopping experience and customer service to ensure your satisfaction and trust. This Return & Refund Policy is designed to protect your rights while also reflecting the operational costs involved in handling high-value and refurbished goods.
Please read this policy carefully. Only one return or exchange is allowed per order.
1. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS
To be eligible for a return, your item must be reported and the return process initiated within 7 natural days of delivery.
For General Items:
Must be undamaged and unused, with original tags, packaging, and stickers intact.
Must be unwashed and unwetted.
For Electronic Devices (e.g., Refurbished Phones):
Account Removal: All personal accounts (e.g., iCloud, Google Account, Samsung Account) must be logged out and removed. We cannot process a refund for a device that is cloud-locked to a specific user.
Security Features: Screen locks, passcodes, and "Find My iPhone" features must be deactivated.
Condition: The device must be in the exact condition it was received, including the specific IMEI/Serial number matching our shipping records.
Accessories: All accessories (chargers, cables) included in the box must be returned.
Note: AmazingMall Africa reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria.
2. NON-RETURNABLE CONDITIONS
The following situations will not be considered defects and are not eligible for refund or exchange:
✖ Normal Wear and Tear: Minor scratches or cosmetic imperfections consistent with the "grade" of the refurbished item purchased.
✖ User Damage: Damage caused by negligence, abuse, drops, or incorrect use of the product.
✖ Liquid Damage: Any sign of water or liquid ingress (even on water-resistant devices, as seals degrade over time).
✖ Unauthorized Modification: Devices that have been opened, repaired by third parties, or have had software modifications (e.g., Jailbreaking or Rooting).
✖ Missing Packaging: Items returned without original packaging or missing parts.
3. ORDER CANCELLATION & MODIFICATION
Modifications: Customers may modify order information (e.g., color, storage size) free of charge within 24 hours of placing the order, provided the item has not shipped.
Cancellations: Cancellation requests are subject to a 10% handling fee. This fee is strictly to cover:
Payment processing gateway fees (4–6%).
Warehouse handling, device diagnostic checks, and logistics costs.
Shipped Orders: If the order has already been shipped, cancellation is generally not possible. If the customer insists on canceling or refuses delivery, the 10% fee plus the cost of two-way shipping will be deducted from the refund.
Note: These fees are in place to cover unavoidable operational costs and are compliant with South African consumer protection regulations for business-to-consumer transactions.
4. PARTIAL REFUNDS
In certain cases, only partial refunds will be issued:
Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Items returned more than 7 natural days after delivery (only accepted at management discretion).
5. HOW TO INITIATE AN EXCHANGE / RETURN REQUEST
Timeframe: Exchanges or returns must be initiated within 7 natural days from the date of receipt.
Contact: Email us at info@amazingmall.africa to initiate return. We will send you return address for your return.
Required Information: You must provide your Order Reference Number.
Evidence: For defective items or cosmetic disputes, please attach a clear photo or video showing the issue/defect.
Requests without an order reference or proof of defect will not be processed.
6. REFUNDS PROCESS
Inspection: Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 3-5 business days of arrival at our warehouse), we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Payment: If approved, your refund will be processed via the original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank.
Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the item is verified to be defective or was sent incorrectly by AmazingMall Africa.
7. LEGAL & UPDATES
AmazingMall Africa reserves the right to update this policy at any time to reflect changes in our services or in accordance with South African consumer laws and regulations (CPA).
